NEW DELHI: Realty shares were trading with losses in Thursday’s morning session.
Shares of Oberoi Realty (down 5.07 per cent), Prestige Estates ProjectsNSE -5.14 % (down 4.85 per cent), Indiabulls Real EstateNSE -4.68 % (down 3.53 per cent)and Godrej Properties (down 2.84 per cent) were trading with losses.
Phoenix Mills (down 2.77 per cent), Sobha (down 2.47 per cent), Brigade Enterprises (down 2.19 per cent)and DLF (down 1.75 per cent) too were trading lower.
The Nifty Realty index was trading 2.96 per cent down at 269.25 around 10:30 am.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 35.35 points at 11,751.80 while the BSE Sensex was down 93.41 points at 39,182.23.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 10 were trading in the green, while 40 were in the red.
Shares of Vodafone Idea, Tata Motors, Wipro, YES Bank, Ashok Leyland, RIL, SAIL, ICICI Bank, SBI and DLF were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
